Intimity, Vulnérability, Sexuality
(NU.E.S)
Imagined and developed by Xavier Brossard-Ménard, staged by Isabelle Bartkowiak, (nu.e.s) (naked) is a hybrid between music and theatre where sung voices embody desire, eroticism, gender representation, sexual orientation, and power relations.
From Cohen to Gainsbourg, from Monteverdi to Bizet with a passage through Purcell, from Starmania to Gaga, the music in (nu.e.s), in the image of our colourful and complex world, covers all styles and time periods. A global premiere by Pierre-Luc Senécal celebrating raves will enliven the crowd!
