As part of the prestigious Festival Classica, Les Rugissants presented at the Ste-Famille church in Boucherville a French program around Debussy, Fauré and Duruflé.

 

The moment of a single evening, the concert brought together exceptional guest artists, including Hugo Laporte (Baritone), Marie-Andrée Mathieu (Mezzo-soprano), Valérie Milot (harp) and Mária Budáčová (organ), to present this shimmering music.

 

On the program, of course, the requiems of Fauré and Duruflé, but also the luminous Dances for harp and strings of Debussy, the very lively Scherzo, op. 2 by Duruflé played on the Casavant organ of the Sainte-Famille Church by Mária Budácová.
