As part of the ARCHES series, Les Rugissants stopped off at the Chapelle des Hospitalières. To complete the celebrations of the 350th anniversary of the death of Jeanne Mance, the ensemble invite the public to discover the unique architecture and acoustics of the Hospitallers' Chapel in a shimmering repertoire of sacred music for female voices.

 

On the program: Poulenc, Duruflé, Brahms, Pärt, Fauré, and pieces for organ by composer Jeanne Demessieux, performed by Mária Budácová on the chapel's Casavant organ.

 

In collaboration with the Musée des Hospitalières de l'Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal and the Canadian International Organ Competition.
